I'm participating in another "random things about me" because some of my favorite bloggers have tagged me recently.
1. I'm much more outgoing in blogland than in real life, but I'm trying to change that and finally start making more friends in Phoenix so this place finally starts feeling like home.
2. I watch Gossip Girls and O.C. reruns with LIndsay while I pretend that I'm only sitting there knitting and am not only not paying attention to the show, but am appalled that she would watch such drivel
3. I buy Playmobil toys for me but let my kids play with them
4. I feel very thankful right now that I get to finally pursue a career that I love, which means that I no longer have to manage the operations of a finance company.
5. I can't watch scary movies. Or movies with suspense. Or TV shows that lean heavily on embarrassing social disaster for their humor a la George Costanza (although I love Seinfeld - it's the exception to the rule). This limits my TV and movie watching.
6. I need to become more organized in my less regimented life. How did I accomplish anything when I was in an office from 7:30 to 5?
7. Despite having way too many things going on right now, I was not able to resist buying this when I discovered it on Craig's List for far below its market value (cheap!)
I'm quite certain that I won't become obsessed with it at all, since I bought it for Gunnar to reproduce his art. We're starting with Christmas cards.
Just as soon as I finish making all those tote bags.
