too tired for lots of words, so here's our photo essay of the last two days.
our home for the week in the Richmond District
some of the food options within a block - we're totally overwhelmed by choices. So many choices. We could be here for a year and never try them all.
food for the eyes - all the details to be discovered while we meander.
watching my kiddos explore the city and rediscover their urban selves.
Tomorrow I'll talk about today - our trip to the CA Academy of Sciences and what a powerful experience we had there.
Oh, and for those of you who stuck around to the end:
Those signs are here too. Remember your poo bags! The neighbors are watching.
Oh my grace! Love the pics of the kids on the shoulders. Love. Love. Love.

I honeymooned in San Francisco 13+ years ago... your photos make me want to go back!

ahhhh... I miss San Francisco! We lived there for three years and your pictures have made me completely nostalgic! It's changed so much since we moved back to the east coast. It's hard to believe a city can change so drastically in such a short amount of time, especially the neighborhood we lived in.
Sigh. What a city!

i think i need to add some of those signs to my street! i saw a couple running with their dog the other day and the dog had a plastic bag tucked into his collar - i just had to laugh.

Hi!
I live right there...near the Drunken Sushi Japanese place in the picture. It was kind of odd seeing it in someone's blog...but thank you for reminding me how pretty, fun and especially how wonderfully diverse my city is :)
