I was going to pose it in a more "natural setting" like out with our coop materials (that are becoming a coop this weekend), but really, this is its natural spot. Sitting on the counter in the pass-through between the kitchen and the dining room. Ready to jump when I need it. It was a gift from my husband, years ago, and I was thrilled. Because let's face it - I'm the handy one around here. That's a sad statement of fact, people. Very sad. Wish us luck this weekend. We're going to need it.
Oh, I am totally the handy one at our house. Also, I can put together Ikea furniture wearing a blindfold.

HA! Jeremy says he's my grunt labor. I just tell him what to do, and how to do it!

I'm the last one that did any fixing at my house. I asked for my own tools for my birthday, and not the girly pink ones either, I want real tools that are all function and no fashion. On a side note, your drill is very pretty!

I usually have to move the drill out of sight at my house - its natural setting is on the table, or on the counter, or on the floor - never in the storage room or with the rest of the tools.

Good luck! We always have a drill on the counters somewhere too, though I am not at all handy like you.

All the things you do and you're calling yourself not handy? Uh huh. I think
you like calling your handy husband for everything! ;)

My husband is very handy, so much so that sometimes I forget just how handy I am. Oh right, I don't need to ask Paul to do that, as my mother would say "what, are you broken?"
Deviation (but funny story)-
11 year old me (taking off my shoe) "mum can you get me a soda?"
mother "what, are you broken"
me (looking at the fresh cast on my leg and my ER bracelet) "um..."
mother "sorry, I'm tired. Uh, no I'll get you some milk."

Three cheers for the handy women in the house! My husband refuses to call the drill by it's proper name, preferring instead "the electric screwdriver"... because, you see, an electric screwdriver is much less scary than a drill!

i'm horrible with the drill - can't seem to keep it level. and it's heavy! thank goodness my husband's handy. but once upon a time, when we were dating, he bought me a makita drill after i mentioned that i wanted my own drill. we've been through quite a few drills since, but i'll always have a soft spot in my heart for blue drills.
